Nothing says YASSSSS like a Llama on the wall and baby Minnetonka's just waiting to warm up some tootsies. Top it off with a killer mobile, and this girl is IN-LOVE. Um, did I mention Mama MADE baby girl's dress?!? I can't even manage to mop my floors.
Of all the baby nurseries I've ever photographed (aside from my own sweet boy's, which I plan to post soon, even if it has been a year since I've shot it), this one is by far my favorite. Clean white walls, wood details, all things modern, and JUSSST the right touch of rustic. PERRRRRfection. Not to mention a sassy little toddler thrown in the mix who reminded me of my own threenager.
When I asked mom where her comforter was from and she responded with that I-spent-way-too-much-but-don't-tell-my-husband smirk, I knew this was my kind of family and my kind of session. I mean, ain't nothing wrong with a little Anthro love, now is there ladies?! Husbands, you don't need to know a thing about that now; just take your paws off Google and focus on keeping that white decor clean.
Enough about my shopping problem, let's talk about, oh, I don't know, my most favorite lifestyle sesh to date?!
The thing about newborn lifestyles sessions is that they take time. Sometimes, LOTS of time. Baby may not sleep (which is okay). Baby may cluster feed (again, a-okay). Baby may not settle. Baby may not stop crying. Baby may not even give you the time of day. And to make it worse! Toddlers. OHHHHHH, those little devils in disguise. I've got one at home, so even with all my years of experience, these little buggers can never be trusted and will throw you for a complete loop when you think you can't be thrown any further. Luckily for me, Miss Liv and I hit it off and became BFF. Girl's got some major personality, and these pictures show it.
Sit back, y'all, and enjoy the sweetness that is the Lam family. And don't worry, I emailed mom after to ask for decor ideas because, a girl can never stop spending money, amiright!?
