Devan is a long-term client turned friend who I was more than overjoyed to capture this moment for. Our Houston Maternity Session was cut short, however, when we finished up at the studio and headed off for our outdoor portion; the absolute worst weather I’ve ever experience quickly engulfed our location and officially ended our shoot. Thankfully, with an understanding client and an over-achieving photographer, we made plans to meet up again in the weeks to come to make some outdoor magic happen! If there’s anything I love more than an amazing client, it’s a Houston Maternity Session that capture a mama’s glow both in the studio, AND outdoors.
If you can’t decide between an indoor or outdoor location, never fret—with Dear Marlowe Photography, you don’t have to! If you are expecting and planning to book your Houston Maternity Session with us, we recommend booking as early as first trimester in order to secure the best dates and plan for hair and makeup. We recommend your Houston Maternity Session take place between weeks 30-34, however, if you are showing that beautiful bump, or if this is not your first pregnancy, it’s totally a-ok to hold your Houston Maternity Session whenever you are most comfortable, particularly if your later weeks are going to make their way into the Texas Summer.
